Nou Mallorca is a real estate developer based in Portocolom, founded by Xavi Prohens and Domingo Barceló, born from a 15-year old friendship and working with the aim of achieving excellence in the development, construction and promotion of real estate projects; with the common link being respect for the integration of spaces in the Mediterranean landscape.
Our Team
Xavi Prohens has developed his career in the tourism sector. Thanks to his domestic and international experience, where he has worked in places such as Majorca, China, Lanzarote, Tenerife and in recent years in Cuba as general manager for a hotel division with 15 hotels and dealing with a wide range of clients with their requirements and possibilities, Xavi seeks to provide simple solutions that are fundamentally effective and pragmatic in the projects in question.
Domi Barceló has had links to the business world since he was young. Domi has been CEO of companies operating in gardening and landscaping, as well as leading a health-care company that collaborates with municipalities throughout Spain in the control and impact of the sun on the skin. He works on adopting sustainable practices in all aspects of the business that contribute to generating value in the management of construction and real estate development projects.
They say that the best ideas come when we enjoy good food and this is how Domi and Xavi’s dream came true. Nou Mallorca was born over a table with the idea of developing projects from start to finish, assuming total and absolute control of the entire process. Thanks to their know-how in the sector and an expert team of professionals, day-to-day life at Nou Mallorca is now a dream come true.
In their spare time, Domi and Xavi continue to enjoy their passion for food, their families, Majorca’s sea and the friendship that brought them together almost 20 years ago.
